A Quantified Self: Pour App
Pour
Based on the phrase, “You can’t pour out from an empty cup,” and the bible verse
in Mark 12:31, “Love your neighbour as you love yourself”, Pour aims to help
you keep track of your wellbeing so that you are able to pour out into others sustainably and to prevent and assist you as you recover from burnout.

Design
Pour's app design is inspired by water and the motion of pouring.

Check In Feature
Pour allows you to rate several areas of your wellbeing on a weekly basis with a unique method of filling 'wellbeing cups' within the app.

Wellbeing areas in the app are derived from Stride which include: occupational, physical, social, financial, emotional, environment, spiritual and intellectual.
Pour In Feature
Pour also prompts and helps you keep track of activities that can help you pour into yourself throughout the week. See your 'weekly fill' on the homepage rise up as you do the activities.
Overview Feature
Pour stores your wellbeing results from weeks and months ago so that you can review your progress.

It uses opacities to visualise your data; the deeper the colours, the more filled you are in that area of your wellbeing.
